Dear (Insert Name Here)

Dear Jason Bateman

hey...what's up???

I took a thought provoking online quiz yesterday about which hunk would have eben my boyfriend in the 1980's...and you know what....I got you.

For the first time I really felt like one of those silly quizzes really seemed to "get" me...I think you would have been my boyfriend in the 80's...well the you you that was in the half a season of "It's Your Move" and then later in Valerie's Family/The Hogan Family/The Hogans....how many names did that show have???

And seriously, Arrested Development was the best show ever...and you, well you were awful cute in it.

Though...here's where the letter gets a little dark (like Flowers in the Attic), my other favorite show when I was a kid in the 80's was...Family Ties...every time I would watch that show I would just say to myself "I am So Mallory"...."That's Me", "I AM MALLORY).

I mean...the similarities were striking, long brown hair (yep, got it), obsession with clothes (yep, there too), kinda bad at the whole school thing (sadly yes, though I have a very high iq), and bad ass 1980's rocker boyfriend (well, mine was in the 1990's and it was my bubs...but yes, had that too).

So now you see my problem...if I am "Mallory"...then that means I am Justine Bateman...your sister!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It figures, it just figures...I finally get a cute 1980's boyfriend and he turns out to be in a strange tv/pop culture way...to be my damn brother...our love is forbidden.

please don't think I'm gross, I did not "rig" the quiz so I would end up with you honest....

so on that note, I will leave you, you will always have a place in my heart....

love
jennifer "Mallory" Gordon

You can't have him - he is mine - in any decade!

I love him on AD but I love George Michael best! Or Job.

But he was the glue.

Have I mentioned that I have probably watched every episode of season two at least five times? That is my favorite season.

I knew you were going to write him today, I just had that sense and all. I love that you visioned yourself as Mallory! I was going to twist it up and do a letter from a celeb today (I wanted Paris to write Nicole and tell her all to be wary of in jail) but my day has been insane and all my creative juice gone. I just want 5 to get there so I can go home and have a glass o' vino. Next week....letters from celebs.

I like him with a little age. Looks like he knows what he wants out of life, right?
