I really like how Jack's costume changes from the first cell to the second, because her imagination kicks in and you are taken along in the fantasy.
With that said, we used to make fun of the people on our block who kept their Christmas decorations up through February. We weren't sure to laugh at them or feel bad for them. Was Christmas so dear to them that they couldn't let it go or were they really just lazy?
My landlord still has a faux Christmas tree blazing on our porch. Every day I think, "really, dude?".
