so far....

so this morning I have....

*done the stationery bike for 7.5 miles, all the while doing arm weights (ugh, I f-ing hate cardio)
*sent out 3 invoices
*started 2 new pieces
*had a giant mocha
*stared at myself in the mirror and thought obsessively "is it working? DO I look thinner?" AND "Did that face mask last night cure all my skin problems???"
*had 1 giant glass of ice water
*knocked over a giant pile of papers and ephemera in my studio which caused me to step back quickly into my garbage can and then knocked that over.
*listened to a Bruce Springsteen bootleg from a couple years back
*now I am blogging.

I am already tired

How are all of you??? Big exciting plans this weekend??? It is going to be a balmy 7 degrees here in Columbus this weekend so I think I am going to be doing a lot of complaining and wandering about the house wearing blankets like I am a Sherpa.

ok so I am still deeply into a Marilyn Monroe phase so please enjoy the new pieces, also there will be more journals in my shop later on...

xoxo

Haha...uh while I sit here with my macciato I'm laughing because your morning sounds like mine except for the stationary bike and it was Echo and the Bunneymen instead of Bruce. And it's not even 9 here yet! I love your site and your work is gorgeous, dark and beautiful and mysterious. Look forward to seeing what you're working on next!

You are very productive in the mornings. I admire that. The most I can manage is to stop for a coffee and read some blogs, and that wipes me out for the rest of the day...

Your Marilyn works are awesome!
When you knock over a stack of papers and the garbage can in the same movement, it's fate telling you to toss some of the garbage out.
When it's balmy in Columbus in January, it's fate telling you to go outside and enjoy the weather.
When you make your artwork, it's fate saying life is wonderful. Hugs.

Today I had the day off of work and I was able to go on a long hike and Henry Cal State park, come back to no power, clean the outside deck, bbq and took a shower once the power came on!

Where do you get your energy? I see you posted at 5:24 a.m. I went from the covers on the bed to the covers on the chair. I am going for the coffee in a few minutes, still in my PJs, and thinking I want to go back to bed.

It is sunny here but cold...so that means being lazy today. My agenda for today:

1. Play on the computer
2. Read my book
3. Nap
4. Repeat #1-3

I am so excited Jenn that I got the Marilyn piece. You did an amazing job on her. And I can't wait to see the custom piece.

Stay warm...

*had 1 giant glass of ice water

Well, I do drink lots of water. Not so much on the biking though. I need to get off my butt and on my back and start doing situps! My poor ruined tummy.
