1899

Good morning!

sorry for the no show with celeb letters yesterday, life got in the way and there were a lot of things that just had to get done, like...

7.5 miles to ride on the bike
lots of orders to package
finish up a special piece for someone special
having a panic attack
reading comics
making journals/sketchbooks

so there you have it, all that in one day...there was more too, but in reality it was the packaging that took the majority of the day...

So as you can see from my list...I was making journals/sketchbooks....now if the sun comes out today they will start being available today and they are limited and I did only one design of each, they will come in two sizes and they are done on beautiful moleskine journals....which if you never owned one, you really should, I keep one with me always just to jot down inspiration or sketch out a layout for a piece or an impromptu piece of poetry....

and yes sometimes I write mean notes in my moleskin and show them to my bubs if what I am thinking is to mean to say out loud.

I learned my lesson from the time I openly made fun of the fat hooker who was bending over with no undies in the grocery store while eating a bucket of chicken wings....yeah....NASTY.

anyway now those things get written in my book and shown to my bubs, in fact we have quite a collection, at some point we will probably compile them all together into some bad "street poetry" and performance art that is all the rage with the young and angry.

wait...where was I going.....oh yeah, moleskines....they are awesome.

also.................................I am currently at 1899 sales in my lil shop, so that means whoever (or is it whomever....I have no idea, this is what I missed out on by studying acting in an art school instead of going to "real college"), anyway, lucky #1900 will receive a FREE 8x10 original collage, because you know how much I love, love, love celebrating milestones.

Speaking of milestones I am approaching my 400th blog post, can you believe it...yikes that is a lot of blah blah.

anyway, the picture shown today is of a brand new Marilyn Monroe collage in my shop, I did a large special order of Marilyn based pieces for someone and now I have Marilyn fever again, so expect to see more, and soon.

The other piece shown with her is a new architectural based piece as well, that too will be available later today.

ok....now must consume coffee and read celeb gossip sites (yeah, I did not give them up for my resolution, I just couldn't)

***EDIT- I have started to add the sketchbooks to my shop, they are photographed above.

Those colors are intense. I love the second picture how they offset each other.

One of the presents Mara gave me for Christmas was a Moleskine notebook, and I almost died, because they are among my favorite things in the world, and I'd never mentioned it.

That is how you know you have a keeper.

I just started keeping a record of every interesting thing I do every day. That's one good use for a journal. Congrats on your newest milestone!

I think you need to share some of the nasty stories from the moleskin...that one in the grocery store is very funny!

I like the idea of keeping a moleskin with you all the time. As they sit in boxes waiting for their new home.

Love the Marilyn, I can see how they are a favorite. I like the archy piece too...

Congratualtions to #1900! I am going to watch for the big one "#2000". If I win, I definitely want the wedding dress piece :-).

If moleskine could talk! That is so great.

OMG I cannot wait to hang my new masterpiece in my house, it's going to be so special having it here.

These notebooks are beautiful, what a superb idea!

Oh...panic attacks must be part of this weeks scenery...I have had a few...and this morning, I cried over a news story of monkeys being used as assistant animals...because it was touching, not because it was weird...

I have never seen a Moleskin notebook (that I know of anyway) but lately, I've either been seeing them everywhere online, or my mother and I have been talking about them...mass consciousness?
