Dum Dum De Dum.......

morning, ok so I feel like I cannot keep in it any longer, I am horrible with secrets, just plain awful...

so..............I'm getting married.

yup, after a very long engagement my bubs and I are finally making it official. Now we are doing this VERY SMALL and very low key, just his parents and my mom will be there, we will most likely have a dinner or something after that, but the ceremony will just be them. The plan is to pay for them to come out here (remember they are 800 miles from here) so............that is really where my stress might come from, well that and fitting into a dress and looking like a stunning goddess for a day.

yeah, strike that, that is going to be the hard part for sure.

Now I am telling all of you this just in case I go into bride mode and I disappear under the weight and pressure of working out...(must lose AT LEAST 15LBS) .or if I all of a sudden start having massive sales in my etsy shop to get the parents out here safe and sound, well and to pay for the dress...

because yes this is about my bubs and I joining together in love and life and all that....but come one, it's also about the dress, like almost all about the dress (excepts that part about the love).

(oh I just realized saying things with this much snark might send the mean letters back my way...saying I am awful because I said a wedding was about a dress.)

anyway, so that is the news, very low key...oh and it will be happening at the beginning of April, we have the date set but I am keeping that close to my heart right now, less it be jinxed. In fact honestly typing all of this out and sending it out into the blogosphere is scary enough.........quick someone knock on wood....

QUICK, I MEAN IT!!!

(see I am already yelling, I believe this is what is called being a "Bridezilla" or something)

so there you have it, I'm all giddy and happy, the way as a bride you are supposed to feel....it feels good. It does.

xoxo
Jenn

PS- I was going to write about Dancing With The Stars tour but I realized that the only people that really care I think I have talked to about it....if you do care and want to know more about Wayne Newton and cute little blond Derek Hough's hips....well leave a comment or send me a convo through etsy and I will tell you all about them.

**picture above is the dress I want, but don't have yet, I am quickly trying to save all my pennies not presently spoken for by things like my huge heat bill, or food, or medicine.

Congrats also. I love being married. The dress depends on the person. I had a beautiful, romantic hippie style dress and it was denim. It was just right for me. My attendant was in short shorts, but that's another story. We will want pictures and yes, ding dang, y'all I want to know about Dancing with the Stars!

I am EVER SO happy for you guys!!! you seem the absolute perfect match for each other.
Well naturally marriage is about love, but having the perfect dress to carry you into (what I consider to be ) a profound state of being ,is indeed one of THE most important components of the wedding!
That particular dress is gorg!
As a vintage enthusiast ,I do urge you to check out your local vintage store, and see if they might have a similar style at a much different price tag.Love and Congratulations!

Absolutely stunning dress, and I LOVE the fact that your wedding will be so small. I believe that's the way a wedding should be. About you, not about trying to make anyone else happy... Congrats!!!! ♥ ♥ ♥

Nicole named her daughter 'Harlow Winter Kate Madden' .... a lot of people say that celebrities are whacked with their name choices. Seriously though, I think it's fun. Apple, Violet, Harlow, Ryder (moving van?!)...it's interesting.

Congratulations Jenn, you will look lovely and it sounds like your day will be very special with your nearest & dearest around you...

Oh and it IS all about the dress! The love is already there before & after the day you get to be the princess of the hour, which all hinges on your dress :) I tried on about 10 but when I came out in "the one" my 2 aunts, mom & I all started to cry :) In that good way though

Jenn!! I am so happy for you...you will make a beautiful bride, hands down. I am blown away with how beautiful the dress is...I would expect nothing less from you, but oh my, the colors are to die for. The style is stunning.

Let me pick up my jaw...okay, and when you get pictures taken of you in the dress and create that 10x10 collage with you I want the original. Definitely have to make it like the one I got...

I am just so excited for you...I hope to have what you and Keith have someday. :-)

Best wishes and you can be as giddy as you want, you deserve it!

And of course it is about the dress.

Everyone knows you love your Bubs. No one needs a wedding to prove they love each other.

Send the mean letters my way - it is about THE DRESS.

Which is absolutely gorgeous and so is the necklace you bought to match it!
