All Business

darling ones....

today it is supposed to get to 95 with a heat index of somewhere over 100...which means I must be getting to creating as my work room has no ac...so attempting to paint anytime after noon is dreadful....

yet I am aching, simply aching to do other things...

like.....go back to bed, or eat waffles, or watch Capote (a surprise gift from my bubs yesterday), relax and work on my French something I have not been doing ("It's too hot to speak French", this is an actual thought I had yesterday).

So things have been quiet, everywhere, quiet on etsy and quiet here on the home front...it's very odd, could this be the calm before the storm...the quiet hours before the big move (now 13 days away) as well as the calm before the holiday rush???

Oh, so...I have ordered new mirrors as well as new button sets for my shop, you can see my new mirrors over on my flickr site, they are not here yet but will let all of you know when they arrive.

Also................this i when I send you all on a field trip/quest...

I have recently been accepted onto Trunkt, which if you have not been there yet, you should go and look around, it is a juried site of "look books", I would love it if you could all go there, and check out my profile and if you can, sign my guest book and rate me (suddenly I feel like one of those insecure whores on the "Am I Hot?" website).

But you see, all my ratings and comments and clicks will help my standing there at the site, you see you come up in searches for popularity etc.

and....well let's face facts here, I was never a popular girl, and now...now I want to be.

I don;t want to bribe, but hell, like a good (bad) politician I will do what needs to be done right??
