On a dark and rainy Thursday...

oh I know....how very droll, I have a title that discusses the weather...are you wondering if I have run out of things to say...

well the answer dear ones is...no.

It is just one of those sleep in days, you know...it's rainy, and very dark frankly it still looks like night and there are no hopes of seeing any sunlight today.

It looks like Mordor (little shout out to all those Lord Of the Rings Fans out there....our "Ringers" in geek lingo).

OK so this is what is going on in my head, I am thinking I should not work today, as it is too dark, bad light equals bad art, right?

I should very well spend the day reading "The Time Traveler's Wife" (which is beyon words good) and watching my movie bubs in "The Village".

right? That is what I should be doing, at the very least maybe start packing up my book cases before the mean cheese arrives tomorrow.

I was going to do a fantastic Zine review today, but I am thinking I will do that next week sometime.

right now....crazy mid west weather is pounding down on us, and the thunder is rolling in, strange as it has been cool here the pas few days, but this air, this sky, this very moment in time is down right tropical.

Oh....and before I forget.....Happy Birthday Karen Beth!!!!!

(throws imaginary confetti in the air and blows one of those annoying birthday party noisemakers...in my brain it's Transformers themed)

please, please, go on over to her blog, or her etsy shop and shower her with birthday wishes!!!

Love you Karen Beth!!!

ok, now thunder is beginning to roll in....and I am getting off the computer before we lose power.

The piece today is up in my etsy shop!! It's called "Now I break Into Pieces"

don;t forget my sale, Just write summer07 and wait for an invoice, receive 20% off items in my shop and 30% off sale items.

xoxo

I wish it was rainy and dark here. Just because I haven't seen a good storm in three forevers, and it hasn't rained in nearly as long.

lol. I love a good Transformers noisemaker.

Dark and rainy sometimes surpasses normal weather, and that's when it's not so bad to mention it. It becomes part of the mood. I loved Time Traveler's Wife so much, I'm probably going to have to re-read it before the movie comes out and ruins my memories.

Lord of the Rings references make me cry. Just for that, I'm going to rub in the fact that it's blisteringly hot and sunny here. Nyah. ;)

Aaron's still sniffly about the hobbit ending. Don't mind him.

Also? It's really gorgeous here. Move back today. ok?

I have to re-read time traveler's wife, it is SO freaking good. I usually go against the mass beliefs but this time, I can't help myself I just fell in love with Clare and Henry. I really hope they don't ruin it with the movie. I think Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston originally optioned it with the company they own and were suppose to play the roles. I don't see either of them in it. I want the notebook couple to reunite! I adore that chick, rachel. hmmm I also adore your new piece, its so fantastic to look at....maybe I need more work for my office...hmm..

Thank you Thank you for the birthday wishes! I'm off to a great start on my birthday and anticipate it to be a glorious day! :)

Rain and dreariness? Definitely spend the day in bed reading. You have inspired me to read my copy of TTTW as soon as possible. I'm trying to get through two other books and then I think I will embark on TTTW. I've heard SO many good things about it.

Love to you today dear! Enjoy your reading!

xo,

Karen Beth :)

Rainy days. Ah... sometimes they motivate me, but usually I just want to turn into a zombie and stare out the window and act contemplative.

Wait, is Joaquin Pheonix your movie bubs? Or Adrien Brody? Please just tell me it's not William Hurt.
