because I am obsessed

here are some photos I captured of the albino squirrel that I see from our kitchen window....please note that all those adorable birdhouses are not ours, but our neighbors....

we are too lazy (and way too poor) to get anything like that for our yard right now, but once we do....that little white beauty will be all mine.

I keep telling my bubs that I want it to come live in the house with us, but he keeps saying things like "no it will bite you", and "no it will poop all over the place" and "no you can't even take care of yourself never mind an albino squirrel "

his points are all valid, as I do have memories of grabbing a baby squirrel when I was a little girl and holding it close to me....then it bit me on the face and I came in the house screaming, but still holding the squirrel.

oh the lovely childhood memories.

ok short and sweet today....sorry for that, you see I am still trying to figure out how to blog and work out in the morning without it taking all day....

is it possible??

does anyone know??

I'm trying this too, blog then go to work without either being very late or having to get very early... I guess we'll see how it goes.

That squirrel will be yours, oh, yes, that squirrel will be yours. We'll just find someone to train it.

I love the fact that you want to get birdhouses so this squirrel can steal from the birds. I like how you think!

I fully support you in your albino squirrel pampering efforts. This being said, I believe your bubs has a point or two. Bitten on the face? Ouch. Also, this whole post is going to skeeve out Kate and Sobe. They're squirrel-phobic.

I've written a post the night before and posted in the morning before. WordPress allows me to adjust the timestamp to post at a particular time. I don't think Blogger is cool like that.

I love the albino squirrel. I too would want it to be a resident of my backyard :)

I love the squirrel! You MUST have it. Build a birdhouse, now.

He is beautiful! I would want to hug him, too. They will get pretty tame, if you are patient. My great uncle would go outside and squirrels would run up him leg and sit on his shoulders - like St. Francis!

You should build the SQUIRREL a house. That would be so cute!!!

That is the prettiest squirrel I've ever seen. I'd want to have it for my own too if I had it near me like you do. I'm sure there must be a way to domesticate it.

Surely.

I love your little girl story!
Blogging definitely takes a backseat when work outs become a priority, part of the reason for my absence, from Bloglandia. However you can do both, just not maybe on my present schedule.
I say make working out a priority, and then insert blogging again.

I think you should find where your squirrel lives and send him treats in secret. I think he'd like it.

Oh man, that squirrel is cute. But probably also prone to face-biting; you can see it in his squirrely little eyes.

Changing topics, just devote the minimum amount of time to writing your posts possible. That's what I do, and it seems to work out for me. Who cares if they don't make any sense? ;)

oh that squirrel is just adorable!! I have never seen an albino squirrel before - you shall have to get your own birdhouse too - or a bird table or something - then he will come visit you and you can bribe him into staying with all sorts of squirrel goodies. Hope you are having a great week!

Cool! I saw just saw an albino squirrel for the first time ever. It was on New Year's Day. That's gotta be lucky, right?

Not to be a downer, but do they still give rabies shots in the stomach? Just wondering. He is an unusual looking cuss, though, isn't he?

Oh, the squirrel is breathtaking...I'm thinking if you leave a trail of squirrel treats leading into the house, it will have no choice but to come and happily live with you! Right?

My friend tried to feed a squirrel when I was in college and that thing bit his finger hard. It bled all over the place and we had to go to the ER to get it stitched up. He also had to get a tetanus shot.

So DO NOT try to feed the albino squirrel, as cute as it is.
