I am being crippled by the pressure

ok, let me cut to the chase.....I love blogging, I do, and as you all know I usually have plenty of things to say, to blah, blah about...............

but currently at the moment, I've got nothing, nothing at all.

And you know what, I know why...it's this National Blah, Blog month, it's the pressure. I have nothing to say because someone (the Blog Gods perhaps) have told me I need to say something or I will be turned into a troll or something.

SO that's it, someone told me to do something and I won't, like a misbehaving child....I have now turned into the mean cheese, desperate to bring a juice box into her bedroom....why does she want to drink juice in her bedroom????? Because I won't let her.

(you see I caved in once and let her bring the juice upstairs, and all she did was get to her room, then she very spitefully stood in her doorway and tossed the juice box to the floor and looked up at me with a cute/possessed by the devil, look on her face.)

Ok this is good, I am doing a stream of consciousness thing that is working for me. I like this.

Oh..........so yesterday my bubs and I went to the Halloween store (yes,m again...I know I have been there almost everyday for the past few weeks) but this time I was looking for a Wonder Woman costume in a size medium, they had it there and I was hoping to get one on sale...but alas someone else snagged it, and my dreams of wearing the costume to the comic convention at the end of the month are slowly evaporating.

I did on the other hand get a beautiful green brocade dress, prefect for any number of costumes, such as Anne Boleyn, A Pre- Raphaelite, or even if I just go to the Ren Fair to make fun of hippies.

so what are your plans this weekend, me...well...remember that juice scenario from before...well, that's about it. Perhaps there will also be a trek to the supply store in there too.

Oh, and if any of you are looking for custom items done for Christmas, please let me know, as I already have a list of pieces to do (at the moment the list is not that long, but still, it's a list) so let me know what you have in mind ASAP so I can make sure it gets done and I have the materials.

ok, enough of blah blah for today, please enjoy random pieces from my shop in the photos.

:)

Jenn, my advice is simple: Don't think about the NaBloPorno. Just post like normal. Otherwise, the pressure will get to you.

Also, because, I have Yoda on the brain for some reason this morning (this is the second comment in which I've referenced the little dude), remember his sage words to the whiny Luke Skywalker:

"Try not. Do or do not. There is no try."

I hope that got it out of my system. Otherwise, CCT is getting a Yoda comment, too.

Have a good weekend with the Cheese. Love you. xoxo

This weekend - 2 shows, the QUARTZ (zine!?!) to finish for god's sake, an extra hour to sleep (or not), a new toy to play with (you can guess what the new toy is from the pic on my blog under 'oh by the way')and being jealous of a certain green dress. Yes that should fill the weekend nicely.

The green dress will serve many great purposes, it was a good find. There is always next year for wonder woman. I have a friend's halloween/housewarming party this weekend, so I get to dress all trashy again and lots of photos and items to get up on la coque.

I'm sure you will have lots to say for National Blah, Blog month. :) I love your daily posts as it is so just keep that up.

Still thinking about the ornament! I want to do it but I'm not sure exactly HOW I would want it done. Does that make any sense?

Hmmmmm...

Love ya,

Karen Beth :)

Oh I am so with you on this - it is the rebel in me (ok so it is just a little rebel). It is funny as I saw a button in a blog sidebar that said 'Blogging without obligation' so now I don't know which I want to do more. Although if I blogged without obligation I would probably end up blogging every day. Such is life.

Just blog about whatever is on your mind. This was a good post! I'm jealous of the Anne Boleyn-worthy dress.

That was a fine post! Don't you love it when kids do stuff like that? It makes you want to kick them in the teeth (sorry to all mom's out there...I've had a store full of rotten kids today) It's almost like when your pets do something they know they shouldn't and they have the sweet eyes...ugh!

I love the idea of you dressing u and going to the Ren. fair to make fun of hippies. That just totally cracked me up!
And I'm feeling equally blah as far as blog topics. I just posted some random shiz about traveling, because I'm tapped. The well has gone dry! I need inspiration!
But you're always very inspiring. And I love today's new pieces. Elegant as always.

I thought November was that writing month, not necessarily blogging.

Anyhow even without the baby making it totally impossible this is something that I would never do. I don't do the self portraits every day for a year (I would probably drop out in under a week), or even the self portraits every thursday. I just generally hate assignments and commitment when there doesn't seem to be much point to it.

It is one thing to try and make yourself write or sketch something daily when you are in a slump, but these group movements meh.

If I were going to do something like write a blog entry every day for a month I would probably make a point not to do it this month.

And remember, there is more to life than blogging. If you don't want to blog every day I say don't! Do something that you enjoy and don't force it.

Those soft, greeny/blues are sooo pretty.

I hate it when people tell me what to do.
